Captain’s Call: If the Captain deems the conditions unsafe on the day of the charter, we will cancel or abort the cruise. If we cancel, we will do our best to reschedule. If a cruise is shortened significantly, we will adjust the cost accordingly or offer a reduced price for a future charter.
Passenger’s Call: The weather might be safe but not necessarily fun! If conditions are marginal on the day of the charter, we’ll give you the opportunity cancel or reschedule the trip. In both cases there are no fees or penalties. If you need to cancel for some other reason, we ask that you give as much notice as possible, preferably at least 7 days.
The safety of everyone onboard is our first priority. Depending on the conditions, we may ask that PFDs be worn during a sail. Children under 12 must wear a personal flotation device at all times.
We can take up to six guests. Children six years of age or older are welcome to join but experience has shown that it is better to limit young children to short trips especially if they have no prior sailing experience.
Food and drink
Onboard, we have an assortment of non-alcoholic beverages. Passengers may bring their own alcohol to enjoy responsibly. Passengers can also bring food along if they wish. Excessive or under-age alcohol consumption is not allowed. Our ship is non-smoking.
Personal belongings and clothing
Bring your cameras and cell phones along but remember that it is very easy to lose these items overboard. Pockets that snap or zipper are always a good idea. We are not responsible for lost or damaged personal items.
It is cooler on the water, and weather conditions can change quickly. Bring an extra layer even on hot days. You should also bring sunscreen and sunglasses. Soft sole shoes for sports or activity are recommended (please, no dress or hard sole shoes). You may go barefoot onboard, but shoes should be worn on the docks.
Our goal is to keep you safe, take you on a memorable trip, and perhaps teach you some sailing basics along the way. We want everyone to enjoy the experience to the max. Argon is a great performing yacht and we invite you to take on tasks and be part of the crew – this is the All Hands part!
