We have both been sailing extensively around the New England coast since 2006. More recently, we have taken Argon on a 5,000 mile trip to Bermuda, the Eastern Caribbean, Bahamas and back to the North East US.
Both captains have extensive experience and training in sailing and seamanship. In 2015, we began preparing for an extended cruise to the Caribbean (and back). We did the extensive US Sailing Safety At Sea class in Newport and prepared Argon with many of the requirements for the rigorous Newport-Bermuda race.
In addition to coastal cruising, we have accumulated thousands of miles of open ocean passage experience.
Our offshore passages include:
- Boston - Nova Scoctia
- Block Island - Cape May
- Hampton, VA - Bermuda
- Bermda - Antigua (west indies)
- San Juan, PR - Grand Turk
- Grand Bahama - Beaufort, NC
